Michelle’s ‘treat’ments at Reflexable are designed to relieve various health conditions, for health maintenance, general wellbeing, relaxation and the release of tension.
She offers Foot, Hand and Ear Reflexology, also Indian Head Massage, Chakra Balancing, Swedish Therapeutic Massage including Pregnancy Massage; all complemented by Reiki and aromatherapy for a holistic ‘treat’ment. Michelle is also skilled in Intentional Peer Support.
Michelle has a strong male and female client base and whilst working from a serene residential location, she is happy to hear from you re complementing a corporate, sporting or fund-raising event.
Michelle has had the experience of mental health challenges and what can help to move forward. It enables her to relate on many levels with clients managing their own mental wellness. Being from a sport and science background also strengthens her interest in physical well-being aspects. She also has experienced the cancer journey with close friends and family and has assisted with treatment support.
Michelle’s therapy work is complemented by the knowledge gained in having worked for the Mental Health Education & Resource Centre here in Christchurch, and as a Peer Support Worker for Bipolar Support @MHAPS and Mental Health Advocacy and Peer Support (MHAPS). She is able to assist you in navigating the health service options in Christchurch and has a great network of people that she can make referrals to also.

Michelle : Reflexable
Michelle is from Christchurch. She has worked throughout New Zealand and in the United Kingdom. She has travelled fairly extensively and had many adventures! When not spending wonderful times with friends and family, you might see her cruising in her 1969 Kombi van. She also enjoys all things musical, being in her garden and walking by the beach.
Michelle has been a recipient of complementary therapies, in particular reflexology, for over 15 years and found it has been a great source of support for a busy lifestyle. Corporate work of sometimes up to 70 hours a week, led her to address much needed changes in her lifestyle. So in 2005, she retrained in the field where she saw so much benefit herself.
Apart from Reflexology, Michelle is passionate about facilitating and enjoys opportunities to deliver sessions on both Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) and Intentional Peer Support. She also enjoys delivering a consumer perspective on the mental health journey for groups, drawing on her experience supported by complementary therapies.
In 2010, Michelle contributed to the book Caught Between Sunshine & Shadows about New Zealanders living with bipolar disorder.
Michelle is currently also working part-time for the St Luke’s Centre here in Christchurch recruiting volunteers and members. Michelle enjoys participating in community growth via volunteering and the sharing of what’s happening via social media.
Music is Michelle’s other great passion and she enjoys exploring new material to provide an ever changing ambient experience for your treatment.

Michelle helps me to re-balance my life force – my energy – my spirit. She is fantastic and I always leave her clinic feeling calm, uplifted, rebalanced and at perfect peace with myself. Michelle is a wonderfully intuitive person.
Like many women, pregnancy took an unexpected toll on me, both physically and mentally. Constant lower back ache, pain in my hips, sore feet and increasing anxiety about motherhood led me to Michelle who tailored my massage sessions to address these concerns.
As well as her skills in massage therapy, Michelle’s professionalism and discretion allowed me to fully relax and embrace the physical and mental serenity that I needed to enjoy the last trimester of my pregnancy.
I have no hesitation in recommending Michelle to other women who would like massage treatments during their pregnancy either as a “treat” or to help with specific ailments.
I find that reflexology consistently improves my mental state, allowing calmer, more focused thought patterns and a more positive outlook on life. I would highly recommend Michelle as a reflexology practitioner.
